YB Hannah Yeoh's office will be organizing a public debate on Local Government Elections. The debate will consist of 6 speakers, 3 will speak for Local Government Elections (this side will be known as the "Government" and 3 others will speak against Local Government Elections (this side will be known as the "Opposition".
Each speaker will have 10 minutes, bringing the whole debate approximately 1 hour. The format of the debate will be similar to the format used in Parliament, albeit with some slight changes to accomodate the shorter durations allocated to each speaker.
The purpose of this debate is to
1. Explore whether it is better to have Local Government Elections or not
2. Explore the models or mechanisms that of Local Government Elections
